Bonnie Winston has a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Boston University. At nineteen, she freelanced in the Talent Casting department of NBC-TV New York and in fact was the 1st intern for NBC on the East coast. From there she moved on to become a Production Assistant for EUE/SCREEN GEMS, then landed at MTV at twenty-one working once more as a Production Assistant.
After MTV, she ran a division of Elite in New York city where she not only represented new talent, but in addition, started Monday Model Night at the Club Heartbreak which was featured in the novel and the film, Bright Lights Big City.
Bonnie relocated to Los Angeles and started Winston West, Ltd., which became a bi-coastal company and represented top celebrity and fashion photographers. She had a knack for taking "starving artists" and putting them on the map. She also handled the legendary Francesco Scavullo and secured him and other established artists, fresh younger clients. In addition to representing photographers, her company also coordinated celebrity shoots. She got the 1st celebrity for BEST LIFE magazine and and secured shoots for Sarah Jessica parker, Alicia Silverstone and others for other start up magazines. Winston West clients include KODAK, SONY, PANASONIC, LIPTON ICED TEA, SAMSUNG, MARIE CLAIRE, BMW, MERECEDS BENZ, VOGUE, GLAMOUR, SELF, The DISNEY COMPANY, DISCOVERY, MTV, YAHOO, R.J. Reynolds, Lipton Iced Tea, In Style Mag, Macys Ann Taylor, Bloomingdales, Folgers, Levis, Walmart, Lands End, Nordstrom, Duracell and thousands more.
